It took him no time to get it out with that. Hal said, he really couldn't feel he was pulling anything, so he stopped to see if the recovery strap was still connected.

Then off across the stream to attempt to cross the Schuylkill river. I got out my high tech Depth Finder--(fishing rod with bobber at 3 feet, weight on end). It seemed to be under 3 ft. Hal tried to go across but got hung up on a huge "I" beam. We all could not initially figure out why a Diesel truck with de-aired swampers, detroits on rear, air lockers on front could not traverse a river two feet deep. Out with the winch and snatch block again. The water temp, even in waders, was a might bit cold. We decided to continue this part in warmer weather.

The swamp area was frozen, except for an area where one truck took a nose dive though the ice, rear right a foot off the ground.
