Big Lick Mt.
March 29, 1997, Continued
The highlight of the play area was a steep hill which boarderlined a cliff.
With Hal taking lead, we followed like Lemmings.
Dave (Sundance) Rossi aptly named it the Selig Slag Slide, after the famous Dr.
Michael (Chains) Selig, who swore he would never let anyone talk him into
participating in such activities. Dave described it best as a scene from
Butch Cassidy, which the passengers look at one another...and leap, screaming
all the way, accompanied by Hal’s "KEEP OFF THE BRAKES!" on the
radio.
Next, it was up the mountain for lunch and trail blazing.
After finding an area to have lunch and admire the trucks
it was off for some trail riding.
